If it didn't compile, it doesn't get shipped.

I'm Joe Lundgren. I've spent the last seven years writing firmware in consumer electronics, with an MS in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins. Somewhere along the way I got tired of debugging the same "definitive ESP32 tutorial" for the third colleague and started keeping a bench notebook.
This site is that notebook, opened to the public. Every entry is bench-tested against a logic analyzer, a power profiler, and an oscilloscope before it is allowed to be published. If the numbers in a tutorial don't match the numbers on my bench, the tutorial doesn't ship.

If a tutorial claims 11.8µA in deep sleep, that's a PPK2 reading, not an Espressif datasheet number. Every quoted figure has a screenshot link.
Parts links may be Amazon Associate or Adafruit affiliate; book links go through Bookshop.org (which supports indie bookstores and pays a higher commission than Amazon). Every affiliate link is tagged inline. Nothing lands on the site that I wouldn't put on my own bench or read on my own shelf.
